The Balsam Firs are a 5-piece Alt-Rock / Funk band from Dover, NH. The band formed in 2019 from a collection of long-time friends who met in highschool, and just couldn't get enough of Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, and Allman Brothers Band. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses hard-hitting grooves and unforgettable guitar solos with good vibes and witty stage banter that will make you want to up-end your entire life just to follow them around the country.

Now hailed as “Dover Rock City's Favorite Alt-Rock Band” by Kelly Bower, previous owner of Flight Coffee, The Balsam Firs have performed over 30 gigs and have sold out tickets for their biggest show. Currently, the band is working on a new single called "The Travelers Curse: 2" that they plan to release in the beginning of 2023.
